If there's anything I've learned this week,
it's that you should never close the door to new experiences.

I used to think there was some certain way
I had to act
in order for a guy to like me.

I used to think there was some sort of "type"
and that every guy I could date
would have to fit into those requirements.

I used to think that in order to be great at something,
you had to be doing it
since you were a toddler.

But this week,
I opened my eyes.
I learned that if you try hard,
you can actually get anything you've ever wanted.

But if you open your eyes,
you realize how much you have been missing
that has always been right in front of you.
And that, in itself, is the most beautiful wonder of the world.

Green Eyes

  1. Ooh, I like this one.

Yeah, every girl who has ever claimed that she has a "type," would be pleasantly surprised if she allowed herself to date a guy who might not fit her "type."

Read the comment I left you on my blog. That demonic post of wrathfulness was not meant for anyone in particular at all.

  2. I agree, I don't think either gender has a 'type' meant for them. We should all stop limiting ourselves and our options.

  3. Christopher: Oh yeah no worries! I saw the comment ahha I wasn't offended I just thought it was funny :P

Shenge: Yeah I mean, I think everyone has a "type" that they are naturally attracted to, but they shouldn't place their limits there
